*** Dress for Top Dollar
My daughter ordered a Debs dress from Fannycrown.com. The quality of the dress was appalling. The colour was not as displayed, the zip was damaged, the edges were frayed, 70% of the sequins were no longer attached to the dress. We found it impossible to make contact within our 2 week "no quibble" returns period despite emailing and telephoning offices in Paris, London, Belgium. When our 2 weeks had expired we were contacted by a representative who refused to honor their claim that they accepted returns of damaged goods. We were told to take our issue up with the courts in HongKong!! We were led to believe by the website that this was a European company with its head office in Paris and we believed that our rights as European consumers would be respected. How wrong we were.We were scammed to the value of $382 by Fannycrown.com

I bought a prom dress for my daughter on www.fannycrown.com - a company seemingly situated in Paris. We made sure that we checked and rechecked the measurements on their sizing chart, and concluded that size 6 would be the correct size leaving 1-2 cm for deviation. At the same time we read their terms and conditions which assured, that if the measurements deviated too much, they would be willing til cover cost for a local tailor up to 100% of the price. Feeling confident, we finally bought the very pretty snug-fitting prom dress. When receiving the dress it appeared that the dress dit not come from Paris, France - but Hong Kong - which did not matter to us, as long as the dress fitted as expected. When trying on the dress - the bust size were 5 cm too small and the waist 3 cm too small - even though we have made sure, that we had 1-2 cm extra to give. Bringing this deviation to the company's attention, they declined any responsability - they refused to exchange the dress for a bigger size nor would they reimburse any costs for a local tailor. - but they would be pleased to SELL a new dress!!! I am now left with a dress too small - even to be fitted by a tailor for EUR 209,- plus postage - and a daughter all in tears.

I would not recommend anyone buying from this site either. I bought one of their tailor made dresses for my graduation ball.
Doing my measurements I double checked and made sure to add extra, and the dress was far too small. Probably about a size 6 when my measurements would have made it about a size 10. I can't even breathe in it!!! Absolutely ridiculous.

Absolutely sickened by their services, very expensive and the quality is terrible can't even get the size right! Ruined my dream dress.
Scam of a website, would never order from them again, dress that arrived was in no way shape or form the same dress i had ordered and they refused to accept the package when i delivered it back. They argued that because the dresses are made in Hong Kong they do not have to act under EU law and accept returns. Biggest load of ***.
very disappointed with dress I bought from this site. Nothing like the quality advertised.
Don't see any point in trying to get refund as no one seems to have had any luck with this.

First of all, i have been waiting for more then 1,5 months at my dress. I read that it would take about 10 days to recieve the dress.
I got my dress yesterday and my prom is in two days. The dress didn't look like the dress in the picture at all.
Now i haven't got a dress to wear. My prom is ruined.
They have some nice dresses...but dont expect to get the colour your ordered and paid for...and dont expect them to be willing to exchange it. Will never buy from them again.
I ordered a dress from *** Crown on the 15th of December and since then I have heard almost nothing from them. Only when I sent them an e-mail on which I asked if I sould have got an order confirmation they replied that my dress is under production.
Now the customizing time is over but I have received no e-mail to confirm my dress is ready and they haven't replied to any of my messages. It's starting to look bad...
The only thing I have to prove I ordered anything from them is the Paypal receipt. Should I have got an order confirmation?
would never buy from this site again I got a dress today from them looked fab on the site when it came and i tryed it on it was a holy show on me I payed €150 for the dress and postage and package I got a call from customs when it arrived in ireland I had to give them an extra €51.I emailed crown and asked then could I get a refund that I wasnt happy with the dress and my 21st is coming up soon and they said they dont take refunds for things like if you dont like the design ect.... so make sure u NEVER buy from this site for there robbers quick enough to take your money but when it comes to refunds they wont take it back .
I contacted *** Crown just in relation to a colour of a dress and they replied straight away! So i dont see why they havent replyed! i wont be getting a dress from there then!
The dress received was nothing like the dress on their site. The tailoring that was extra transpired to be a few tacks visible from the underskirt which bunched up the outer layer.
The lace detail was not centred in the front and the side folds were uneven in numbers and size. The dress was 3cm larger on one side than the other!
The dress was thrown together and as a result we had to purchase a dress on the eve of the prom! Never buy from *** CROWN!
I have also bought a dress from that site. And unfortunatly I did not even received the dress.
I have tried to contact them, but with now luck. Now I have opened a claim on paypal site and i hope to get back my money.
